Discovery Air Chile has over 16 years’ experience in aerial helicopter work. With the main base in Machalí, O’Higgins Region, and having secondary operational bases in Copiapó, Coyhaique, and Cochrane, we are able to meet the needs of our customers.

Our growth is reflected in our fleet and materialized with the support of Great Slave Helicopters (GSH), our parent company, which makes us versatile in the national and international market. Our ability to deliver efficient, safe and experienced services in the field of modern aviation, is due to our aircrew, training, and specialized operational gear.

In 2017, Discovery Air Chile partnered with Columbia Helicopters, a North American aviation company, to complement our fleet with heavy helicopters.

Discovery Air Chile is a certified company by the DGAC, category BARS GOLD operator, and holds an Aeronautical Maintenance Center (AMC). Discovery Air Chile is also certified ISO comprehensive (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001), demonstrating a long period of rigorous training and personnel training, air operations to offer the highest quality.
