Stores Clerk- Int’l Shipping and Receiving

GSH is looking for an individual with high degree of professionalism, cultural awareness, respect, and sensitivity; someone flexible who is able to demonstrate sound work ethics. The ideal candidate will have solid oral and written communication skills, excellent organizational and time-management skills, and experience working in a stressful fast paced environment with competing priorities.

Hours: Monday- Friday 8 am- 5:00 pm and on-call                           
Location: Calgary, AB

Duties include:

  • Work with customs brokers and track temporary imports/ exports
  • Work with our International Stakeholders to ensure delivery of shipments is efficient as well as develop cost containment strategies.
  • Develop systems for tracking orders, back-orders, ETA’s, and shipment status. As well as communicate this information effectively to internal and external customers.
  • Ensure that all parts being received or shipped are in compliance with the company Policy and Procedures manual.
  • Picking of Parts being issued to all engineers and/or assigned to the appropriate aircraft;
  • Prepare all shipments and ensure that packaging of these items are properly packed;
  • Prepare all shipments ensuring that these items are in compliance with the Dangerous Goods regulations;
  • Receives, distributes and delivers parts by ensuring the most efficient and economical means being used;
  • Afterhours or work on weekends may be required from time to time;
  • Assist with Operational requirements as and when requested in a timely manner.


  • Grade 12 education
  • Post-Secondary, Logistics and/ or Supply Chain Management (PMAC)
  • Spanish language Proficiency is an asset
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience
  • International Shipping
  • Exposure to aircraft stores is an asset
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Experience using forklift, pallet jacks, variety of dollies,
  • Heavy lifting required.
