You shall Inspect, monitor, maintain and service aircraft and components, systems, controls and devices to ensure safe operation. Maintain detailed log-book records, noting all work performed. The Apprentice Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (A-AME) is advised of current policies and procedures to ensure he/she operates knowledgeably and is aware of responsibilities and accountabilities. A-AME is at least currently enrolled or a graduate of the Transport Canada Certified Aircraft Maintenance Program.
